Brooklyn Tweed's first yarn using plant fibers, first tonally-dyed yarn, and their first yarn that will benefit Black American farmers in perpetuity.
3% of profits from Dapple benefit the National Black Farmers Association.

Dapple is an unparalleled delight, marrying all the traits you love about wool with cotton’s very best qualities.
This dimensional yarn is a blend of 60% Merino wool and 40% organic cotton, woolen-spun for ultimate loft and lightness. The spring and bounce of plump wool anchors this 2-ply DK weight yarn, providing structure and memory to your knitwear.

Concurrently, cotton’s smooth hand softens wool’s rustic texture, making Dapple a dream for those knitters who crave a downier feel. Organic cotton slubs shine throughout this blend, creating marled and richly tonal effects within the colorways.
With saturation ranging from light to dark in hue and a little melange look, each skein is a unique iteration, making every project truly one-of-a-kind.

The unique nature of the spinning and dyeing process creates subtle variations of colour and texture throughout each lot for dappled, tonal colour effects.

Experiment with fades, ombres, and nuanced, blended fabrics — let Dapple do the work.

This is absolutely beautiful for baby knits - cotton soft and bouncy at once, or for any knit or crochet close to your skin.
