GAUGE 28 stitches & 64 rounds = 4” in circular garter stitch with Size A needle, before and after blocking
NEEDLES Size A (for Main Fabric): One 16” circular needle and one set of DPNs in size needed to obtain gauge Suggested Size: 2˝ mm (US 1˝) If using the Magic Loop Method for working Hat in the round, one Size A 32” circular needle can be used and the 16” circular needle and the DPNs omitted Size B (for Ribbing): One 16” circular needle (or 32” circular for Magic Loop) two sizes smaller than Size A Suggested Size: 2 mm (US 0)
FINISHED DIMENSIONS 20” circumference at widest point to fit average adult head sizes (20-24”) comfortably; 8” long
